Hamilton originally Cadzow is a beautiful town within the council area of South Lanarkshire, lieutenancy area of Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. It lies along the southern bank of River Clyde southeast of Glasgow. It historically belonged to the House of Hamilton and had its named changed to what it is called now upon the marriage of James Hamilton, 1st Lord Hamilton to Princess Mary of Scotland. The town today currently serves as the administrative centre of the council area of South Lanarkshire. Hamilton is highly popular for its beautiful surroundings, collection of marvelous architectures and historical destinations.
