When you book through us, you can contact our Customer Care Team by replying to the Confirmation Email advising baby's age in months/years, and type or seat. You can ask our chat team or feel free to send us an e-mail to info@vroomvroomvroom.co.uk so we can assist you with your booking. We will respond within one business day. It is very important that your child has the safest journey possible that is suitable for their weight and size, and is rightfully fitted in the vehicle at the time of rental. According to Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), there are many different types of child car seats available for you to choose and use.
In the UK, child seats are divided into categories based on the weight of the children for whom they are appropriate: rearward-facing baby seats, forward-facing seats, booster seats, booster cushions, Isofix seats and i-size seats. Take note that these fit broadly to different age groups, but it is the weight of the child that is most critical when choosing what type of child seat to use.

When using a child or booster seat, the GOV.UK states children should use a child car seat until they are 12 years old or 135 centimetres tall, whichever comes first. Children over 12 or more than 135cm tall must wear a seat belt. Make sure to check the seat if it is right for the height of your child. In addition, the seat your child can use plus the way they must be restrained in it should depend on their weight. Only EU approved height and weight based child seats can be used in the UK.
