How Long Will It Be Until My Bond is Refunded?

Normally, renters should get their deposit back between 5 to 10 business days (or less) once the vehicle is returned. Note that some car rental companies with better systems are closer to the five-day mark, particularly if you book during the off-season.

If you book during busy periods such as Christmas and Easter, it may take longer for your bond to be refunded. It is also dependent on your bank, with some banks taking longer than others to refund the security bond.
